This week, we had the opportunity to hold our luncheon at Gigi’s Playhouse in downtown Cary and learn more about the incredible work they do in support of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Their commitment to providing free educational, therapeutic, and social programs helps create opportunities for achievement, inclusion, and lifelong support. It was inspiring to see firsthand the positive impact they have on our community.
Thank you to Mike Cooper, Town of Cary Fire Chief, for coming to speak with us last week about fire safety and the status of our local fire departments! Be careful when you are cooking out there, that’s the number one cause of house fires! Thankful for our local firefighters that serve our community!
Secretary Elaine Marshall shared insights about the long-standing partnership between the State of North Carolina and Moldova, which was established in 1999. Over the years, this relationship has fostered meaningful collaboration in education, cultural exchange, healthcare, and technology, creating lasting connections between the people of North Carolina and Moldova.![]()
