Connecting to Community
The Cary MacGregor Rotary Club is committed to strengthening our community by investing in local nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. Through our Community Service Grant Program, we support initiatives that improve education, promote health and well-being, address basic needs, and create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive. We believe that strategic partnerships with local nonprofits allow us to extend Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self beyond our membership and into the community we call home. Each year, our club provides financial support to organizations whose missions align with Rotary’s values and whose work is creating lasting, measurable impact in the Cary area and beyond.
Applying for a Community Service Grant
Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Cary MacGregor Rotary Club. To be considered for funding, please complete the Community Service Grant Application and submit it, along with a copy of your organization’s W-9 and IRS Tax-Exempt Status Determination Letter, to David Johnson, Community Service Committee Chair, at david.johnson@ymcatriangle.org.
Applications are reviewed by our Community Service Committee and evaluated based on community impact, alignment with Rotary values, organizational need, and available funding. Applicants may be contacted for additional information during the review process. Organizations selected for funding will be notified directly and invited to participate in a check presentation at a Rotary club meeting, where they will have the opportunity to briefly share their mission and the impact of the grant. We appreciate the opportunity to learn about the important work being done in our community and look forward to reviewing your request.
