Together. As the BEST DANG ROTARY CLUB IN THE COSMOS!
The founders recognized a need in the Cary community for quality childcare, and particularly a need for care for children with special needs. Several of the founders were long-time educators in Wake County. They recognized that young children with developmental delays, or at-risk for developmental delays, would have a greater chance for success in public school if their special needs were cared for at a very early age. These insightful founders realized that children with special needs could make tremendous strides in development by interacting with children who are developing typically.
They need help with:
1. Playground updating
3. Cleaning out their gardens and landscaping
CORRAL believes that helping kids requires a holistic intervention. We must address the whole child: emotional, physical, spiritual and mental while providing the skills needed to reach their goals and dreams. We also believe that working with a horse will allow girls to address hurt, trauma and unhealthy patterns in a unique way – horses help girls learn emotional intelligence and develop the leadership skills that are required of an equestrian. CORRAL also believes that the support of a network of caring and consistent adults combined with rigorous accountability will lead the young women at CORRAL out of their current situations and into a healthier, happier permanent chapter in their lives.
They need help:
1. Preparing for a major fundraiser
