Rotary works very hard to eradicate polio. On Wednesday January 18th, Lynne Carpenter talked about all those efforts, her trip to Pakistan to vaccinate kids, and the story of her traditional Indian outfit.
Rotary Foundation spent $153m in 2021 to eradicate polio and to develop health infrastructure. Rotary estimates $3 fully protects a child from polio for their entire life; 60 cents for just vaccines. Oct 24th is the World Polio Day! Contribute to fundraising for polio!
